4th KASC workshop: "From unprecedented data to revolutionary science"
At the third KASC workshop in June 2010, we saw data of unprecedented quality and quantity for pulsating stars across the H-R diagram, and we heard some of the early science highlights from the Kepler mission. One year later, we will meet at the High Altitude Observatory in Boulder, Colorado to discuss the progress that has been made transforming these extraordinary data into groundbreaking scientific results. In addition, the specific target phase of the mission will be well underway, and we can expect new surprises from the longer data sets on the most interesting stars.
The registration fee is waived for all students and for postdocs who have obtained their PhD in the past 5 years. This support is provided by White Dwarf Research Corporation with funding from the Pale Blue Dot project.
